ALIGEGEO provincial secondary school (APSS) will be hosting its first ever fundraising drive in aid of its new chapel, next month.
School principal Robert Lafisi said that this fundraising drive will focus on ex-students to support the school.
He said that the main aim of this fundraising is to raise money to build a chapel building for their spiritual activities.

“For so long the school has been without a physical prayer house and we realise that we have missed one of the important arms of the school,” the principal said.
He added that so far the students have been using the dining to conduct their worship activities.
“This is the greatest need of this school and we will be hosting it by 17 next month, Mr Lafisi said.
The principal stated that this fundraising is like a mother who is calling on her sons and daughters to help her as she is growing older now.
“This means the school is now calling on all ex-Aligegeo students to come forward and help her in any amount of money to up lift it spiritual life, Mr Lafisi appealed.
He said that letters will be sent out to ex-students as a request to support the event.
Meanwhile, main highlights for the day are; mini games, musical concert, selling of foods, queen shows, cultural dances and lots more.
Mr Lafisi said that this will be the first ever big fundraising hosted by the school.
“All are welcome especially ex-Aligegeo students because this is your mother calling you, principal Lafisi said.
