AN Isabel elder who is also a land owner has refuted the claims made by Nolan Jolo describing his statement over the tubi issue as misleading and full of liars.
The elder who wished to be named Nicko said the tubi logs Mr Jolo claimed were cut from their land was false.
Nicko said the logs were cut from land called Holitoga in north San George which Holitoga Enterprise has a licence for.
He said Mr Jolo must stop his false accusations and claims in the media without proving where the tubi logs came from.
“He should go down to Isabel and see for himself where the logs were cut before making any false accusation and claim against the company. The court, his lawyers, the ministry of forest and environment are tired of his false accusations and claims,” Nicko said.
Adding if it was illegal as Nolan had claimed, why the commissioner of forest and director of environment did issued their approval for the license and export permit at the first place.
Nicko called on Mr Jolo to verify his claims before running to the media because what he said was misleading and does not help at all.
