The Australian High Commissioner Andrew Byrne will kick off a two day visit to Malaita province starting on Tuesday.
The tour will see Mr Byrne visiting Kilu’ufi hospital, clinics and to other schools in and around Auki.
Malaita provincial Premier Edwin Suibaea confirmed the visit on Monday saying the tour would start just after 10am this morning where the delegation will visit Kilu’ufi hospital, Gwonaru’u airfield, Honeabu clinic and Laulana community high school.
On Wednesday the delegation will be visiting Auki main market and various tourism resorts at the Langalanga Lagoon before returning to Honiara the same day.
Due to bad road condition the delegation is unable visit Malu’u and other sub-regions of the province.
Australia is one of the country’s top partner that help assists Malaita province in the area of education and health services.
