Students, staff and family members of the University of South Pacific (USP) Solomon Islands campus successfully ended their two weeks of health program with a morning walk.
As part of concluding the event more than 400 people took part in a six kilometre walk yesterday from the USP head office at Lawson all the way to Panatina Plaza.
USP Solomon Islands campus Director John Usuramo told the Solomon Star that the event ended successfully as a sports and family day.
Mr Usuramo said it was exciting to see students, staff and their families who turned up to be part of the closing event.
“I acknowledge them for their participation during the two weeks long program.”
Mr Usuramo also thanked his staff and students for working in partnership with the Ministry of Health in organising the program.
