MEMBER of Parliament (MP) for Aoke/Langalanga Matthew Cooper Wale says he will be the new finance minister when the new government is formed.
During a thanks and dedication service held at Ngalisagore village on Sunday, Mr Wale revealed this his people, saying he will be sworn-in as the new finance minister when the executive is formed.
“I’m going to be appointed as the finance minister.”
He then revealed his trip to overseas after being sworn-in.
The MP said, he will be attending a two weeks meeting for finance leaders overseas.
He also admitted that as a nominee in their camp for the Prime Ministers position last week, he lost by two votes, which saw Manasseh Sogavare being the leader.
Sunday’s ceremony saw Mr Wale and newly elected Provincial Member for ward one Malcolm Moli being dedicated in their duty as elected leaders for Aoke/Langalanga constituency and ward one.
