Central Honiara MP, Moffat Fugui calls Honiara City councilor to work closely with their members in the national government.
He said the past term has seen a big gap between national leaders and councilors.
“At times certain projects become aligned together, doing the same thing,” he said.
Fugui said this has to be relooked at and he urges the councilors to open up and discuss thoroughly with their members of parliament on issues.
“Whether it is of development or issues affecting our constituents, it’s important this is cleared between us so that we don’t duplicate or confuse each other.”
