MEMBERS of the new Guadalcanal provincial executive on Thursday took their oaths of allegiance at their Kukum, official headquarters.
The executive included Rollen Seleso (Deputy Premier) and Provincial Minister, John Nano (Provincial Minister, for Lands Culture & Tourism), Patrick Koeolia (Women, Sport and Youths), Lazarus Alfred Rina (Provincial Minister for Health and Medical Services), David Ono (Agriculture and Fisheries), Joseph Tausuli (Environment and Natural Resources), Jacob Manengelea (Mines and Energy), Lionel Longarata (Provincial Affairs), Adrew Rayboy (Works), and Isaac Palakonina (Regional Affairs).
The premier urged members of his executive to do their duty diligently for people of Guadalcanal.
“Our people expect us to deliver what they elect us to do.
“We must refrain from our own political agendas and keep focusing on the interest of our province and the nation at large,” he said.
