Police are still searching for the murder suspect who stabbed his sister in-law at Tenaru last week.
Commissioner of Police Frank Prendergast said search and active investigation into that stabbing incident is continuing.
“We have a suspect that we are looking for at the moment,” he said.
Mr Prendergast reiterated and warned against domestic violence which he said at times can result in unwanted results.
“The Royal Solomon Islands Police will continue to commit itself in engaging with communities to ensure avoidable incidents like that do not happen again,” he said.
