KIRAKIRA police on Monday were deployed to two villages following a stoning incident.
Deputy provincial police commander Peter Sitai said a number of officers were deployed to Haboru and Harusi villages to investigate suspects who allegedly involved in stoning villagers.
Mr Sitai said police have not received any reports of injuries as yet but it is a dangerous practice that puts people and properties at risk.
โWe will not tolerate such practices therefore those responsible will be arrested and made to face the law.
He said investigation will continue during the week.
