Cases of malaria in Malaita are reportedly going down.
That’s according to Kilu’ufi nurse in-charge Nixon Olofisau.
He said records show malaria cases have been going down.
“This is good news for the province,” Olofisau added.
He said the drop may be result of the many awareness programmes as well as health measures being taken by people to prevent mosquito bites.
Olofisau urged the people of Malaita to continue fight this killer disease and make it a disease of the past.
