THE Malaita premier Peter Chanel Ramohia has assured the Asia Pacific Sustainable Development (APSD) center that his government will support them where necessary.
Speaking during the induction program on Monday, Mr Ramohia said, that his government will support such institution when it is necessary.
“This is a very important technical school and we will find ways support you to keep the school moving forward.
“I have been informed that these centres, APSD at Fiu central kwara’ae and Ngalikekero training center in north Malaita are owned by the province.
“Therefore, my government will step in as long as it is necessary.”
He added, his government is going to prioritise the center because it is prioritising agriculture.
“Agriculture and fisheries are the main players in my government’s policy that I believed will drive the province forward,” Mr Ramohia added.
He stated they will find ways to support such centres because they have played an important role in the province that are encouraging pushed out students to utilize their skills.
Mr Ramohia encouraged the students to make use of their time at the centre.
