The Malaita Provincial Government (MPG) has now approved and endorsed its policy statement called our Malaita Alliance of Reform and Transformation (MART).
Hon. Premier Peter Ramohia yesterday said, they have completed the translation of the policy with help of PMO staff, divisional heads and stakeholders early this week.
“Each sector have provided priority areas budgeted for, their goals along with list of activities. They were translated into activity plans.
“The executive will have time to further deliberate on the translated document, approve and endorse it next week.
“They can make changes and addition for its finalized production for the MPG.
“The MPG is also planning on launching the policy and translation document by end of next week.”
Premier Ramohia is looking forward for then national government for financial support for the launching program.
As understand the MART policy focuses on Agriculture and Fisheries industry as the main economic drivers for the province.
