SOME Solomon Islands students studying at Divine Word University (DWU) in Madang, Papua New Guinea are expected to travel back to campus on Monday.
This was after the PNG Immigration department approved their visas in Port Moresby yesterday.
Most of them have collected their visas at PNG High Commission office in Honiara yesterday, except for five students, whose visas are still being processed.
One of the students thanked the authorities for making it possible for them to receive their visas and return back to their studies.
Unlike last year, the students arrived late for their studies after PNG government shifted the visa processing back to Port Moresby following a standoff with Australia.
Meanwhile, students studying at University of Technology, Goroka, Vudal in East New Britain are expected to receive their visas next week.
