A YOUNG man who allegedly stabbed his wife with a scissors last year at the GPPOL 2 area, in East Guadalcanal will take his plea on March 24.
Junior Taro, 19, is facing one count of unlawful wounding.
He allegedly stabbed his wife with a scissors on her left rib, left wrist and neck causing her to lose conscious following an argument between them on 22 August 2014.
According to the allegation, they were arguing over some family affairs and about their child who was adopted by the alleged victim’s uncle.
It was alleged Taro was frustrated because the child was not returned to him.
Police alleged that as a result the argument, he took hold of a scissors and stabbed his wife.
The alleged victim was later rushed to the GPPOL clinic where she received medical treatment and later she was referred to the National Referral Hospital.
