THE Solomon Islands National University (SINU) has launched its first ever students’ handbook on Wednesday.
The launching took place at the SINU Kukum campus’s lecture theater.
The hand-book was supposed to be launched in early January. However due to late printing they’ve done it yesterday.
Speaking during the ceremony Campus Life Manager Selison Faisi Jnr said, that this students’ handbook is very important to guide the students at the university.
“It tells you what to do and where to go when you have come across issues at school.
“This is the first edition, and it comes into two differentforms, one is for the boarders and the other for the overall students at the university,” he said.
He believes with the hand-book, students will no longerbe confusedwiththe rules of the university.
He appeals to the students to keep these hand books for it is a law to guide them at school.
A student spoken to yesterday said, the handbook has allowed them to better understand the rules of the university.
“This hand-book is very important to guide us.
“Since we have entered this university last year, there is no such hand-book like this,”a business year two students told this paper.
“We are very glad to have this,” the student added.
