THE Wogasia festival on Santa Catalina in Makira/Ulawa Province will kick off this Sunday.
George Ipileni, coordinator for Catalina Cultural Centre told the Solomon Star from SantaCatalina yesterday that the two days event will be staged on a small coral island in Santa Catalina.
Mr Ipileni said the preparation towards the annual festival is underway at Santa Catalina.
“We have prepared for the festival which will see much cultural activities and histories of Makira culture especially here at Santa Catalina being displayed.”
A number of overseas and government officials and guests will be part of the event.
