HAPI Isles Health Foundation continues its charity work to improve services for children at the National Referral Hospital (NRH) with the kind donations of taps and toilet equipments on Wednesday.
The charity group stepped in with the kind donations after seeing the need to improve the services in the areas of washing and ablutions for children in the children (pediatric)ward.
One of the Directors of HIHF Doreen Kuper said, they always want to see better services are provided for children, nurse and doctors in the children ward.
The Medical Superintendent Dr Rooney Jagilly said, the donation of taps and toilets equipments was a big help towards improving the services in the hospital especial in the children’s ward.
He said, at the moment two sinks within the children ward were not working and so the donations of taps will help out a lot for the nurses and doctors to clean up equipment and wash their hands before and after doing their jobs.
The Medical Superintendent said, for the new toilet equipments it will improve the toilet system and help people who go in and out to visits their relatives or children at the hospital.
