THE case between the Forum Solomon Islands International (FSII) and Chief Executive Officer of Solomon Airlines Ron Sumsum will return to the Honiara Magistrates’ Court again Monday next week.
That is when the court will know whether the hearing into the case will continue that day or a date to be fixed for the continuation of the hearing.
Mr Sumsum and another witness have already testified in the prosecution case which was now completed.
It is now for the defence’s case.
Five registered trustees of FSII represent the forum.
The defence case was supposed to have proceeded last week but since Chief Magistrate Emmanuel Kouhota has left the country, the matter was adjourned.
Mr Sumsum is suing FSII for criminal defamation over publications the group made on its face book page about his pay and other benefits.
Lily Ramo of DNS & Partners represents Mr Sumsum while Public Solicitor’s lawyer Chris Rarumae is defending the five FSII accused.
