LAWSON Tama national stadium will be the place to be for many families as one of the biggest entertaining events in Honiara returns this weekend.
Dubbed as the ‘Carols in the Islands”, the event will again see thousands of Honiara residents being part of the event this coming Saturday, 12th December.
It was confirmed that, gate will open at 1pm where games, activities, food and drinks stalls will also open.
Pre-show entertainment will start later, followed by a 1 hour photo session with Santa Claus and his friends and also a float parade.
Frosty the Snowman and the Ginger Bread Man will be joining Santa Claus at the event as special appearances.
The main highlight for the evening will be the Christmas carols where local talented artists will showcase their singing skills, staring at 5pm.
It is a free entrance family event so the general public are welcomed to be part of the pre-Christmas celebrations.
A crowd of 20,000 people will be expected to attend the event.
Meanwhile, the 2015 Carols in the Islands is proudly sponsored by, Island Enterprises Ltd, ANZ Bank, Our Telekom, Sol Tuna Company, Ela Motors, Australian High Commission, Solomon Star & PAOA FM.
