Transparency Solomon Islands (TSI) has announced the lucky winners of the international anti-corruption day short essay and poetry competition.
The short essay competition prizes to; Laine Ryan in first, the 2nd to Emy Pisihania Rusi and 3rd prize goes to Lanique Pitasua.
For the poetry competition, the prizes go to the following; 1st prize goes to Vincent Nomae, 2nd prize goes to De Mateo and the 3rd prize goes to Jenny Tuita.
The IACD essay and poetry committee has congratulated the winners of the essay and poetry competition and other who have participated in the essays and poetry competition.
Speaking to this paper yesterday on behalf of the IACD Rex Akomae said a total of eight essays and 17 poetry entries submissions were received by the IACDA essay and poetry committee.
He said, it was encouraging to note the creativity put forth by the competitors on breaking the corruption chain using paper and pen.
He said winners of the essay and poetry competition will be presented with their prizes during the International Anti-Corruption day official programme today.
The winners are encouraged to attend the programme today at the National Art Gallery where they will be awarded with their prizes.
