Malaita Ma’asina Forum (MMF) Presidents Charles Dausabea says Burns Creek community leader John Seti Iromea’s accusations do not worth his reply.
Iromea earlier question the silence Dausabea and his group had towards the government’s recent payment of $3 million to ex-militants from Malaita.
“What I can say is Iromea’s comments are non-sense and does not worth my reply,” Dausabea told the Sunday Star.
“I simply do not want to deal with Iromea because he does not know what he’s talking about,” he added.
“Iromea is only seeing things at the surface.
“He must understand that this nation is at risk and vulnerable of the promises made to the militants during the negotiation of the Townsville Peace Agreement in 2000 are not met.
“It’s been almost 15 years now and the promises are being buried and swept under the carpet.
“Of course victims of the tension also need government assistance but let us deal with the aggressive ones first.
“The $3 million the government paid to the ex-militants was on the first step,” Dausabea said.
