THE Office of the Prime Minister has sacked a third political appointee.
Director Political Administration for Government Caucus, Barry Samson was given his marching orders this week, according to government insiders.
His termination followed earlier termination of chief of staff George Kuper and Policy Secretary, Sectoral Reform Productive Sector Dr Gabriel Titili.
The two senior political appointees have been terminated from employment earlier this week.
Mr Samson had confirmed receiving his exit orders from the Office of the Prime Minister.
Mr Samson has been working as Director Political Administration for Government Caucus since Government was voted into power in the 2014 national elections.
Special Secretary to Prime Minister, Andrew Muaki could not be reached for comment on the sacking since he left the country for Australia last Thursday.
Mr Muaki had earlier said the reasons for the terminations of the two political appointees removed from their duties would be made known after deliberations by Government Caucus.
But a government insider unofficially revealed that the terminations were made on grounds of underperformance.
