OUR Telekom has thrown its support behind a planned clean-up of Honiara today and tomorrow.
Forum Solomon Islands International (FSII) is organising the clean-up of the streets and highway.
Our Telekom’s Public Relations Officer Lawrence Nodua confirmed the company donated 20 cartoons of water, 250 baggage bag, 15 beach umbrella, and 100 red hot T’-shirts valued at $10,000 to FSII management.
“Our Telekom is pleased to assist in such a great community service and confirmed the company’s support to keep Honiara clean,” Mr Nodua added.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of FSII, Benjamin Afuga said that he is happy with such support.
“I on behalf of the FSII Management acknowledged the donation that will greatly assist members who will engage in the clean up this Saturday and Sunday clean-up campaign,” Mr Afuga added.
In other donation issues, Central Development Limited has pledged to donate water and a three-tonne truck on Sunday to dispose rubbish.
“Members are kindly reminded to come in numbers and let’s give back to community.”
