The Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) has farewell Participating Police Force (PPF) Commander Mark Ney on Thursday.
The farewell was held during the normal Thursday police parade held at the Police Headquarter at Rove.
Deputy Police Commander Juanita Matanga yesterday at the weekly police conference acknowledged the work the outgoing PPF commander has done for the RSIPF.
“This is in terms of capacity building within the police force.
“On behalf of the police force, I wished Mr Ney well as he return back to his home country.”
Mr Ney has served as a PPF commander since December last year.
He will be leaving for Australia over the weekend.
