DEPUTY Police Commissioner Juanita Matanga says police are impressed with the behaviour of the public during the soccer match between Australia and our under 20 boys on Wednesday.
Speaking at the weekly police conference, Ms Matanga said this is something we must continue to support as we strive towards improving soccer in our region and country.
“We must always show this sort of behaviour to encourage other countries to continue to come and play soccer here,” Ms Matanga said.
She said she is happy with the attendance of people turning up to watch the match at Lawson Tama field on Wednesday.
She is impressed with the public’s behaviour during the international match which she says is very good.
