A COUPLE from Cairns in Australia created history as the first to tie the knot in Honiara as visitors on board a cruise ship.
Adam Steven Frew and Briohny Erin Cook were the happy couple yesterday, in a wedding staged at the Heritage Park Hotel, in Honiara.
They travelled in the Cruise ship Pacific Eden, which stopped over in Honiara on Tuesday.
Their daughter Ruby also joined in as her parents made their vows in front of a handful of friends and locals.
On arrival, the couple headed straight to the local Magistrate court to sign their marriage certificates before proceeding on to the Heritage Park Hotel to exchange vows.
It is evident through their appearance, they are very much happy to host their wedding in the Solomon Islands.
