BE Happy Ministry leader, Mambo Fangaria says he will be working closely with the police to arrest kwaso producers in the Borderline area.
Mr Fangaria declared this move at borderline bus stop Monday morning.
“I want to tell you my good people of this area that I will be working close with the police to arrest those who produce and sell kwaso illegally during this Christmas festival,” Mr Fangaria said.
He said Christmas is not a time to drink and cause disturbances in the communities.
“It is time that everyone should celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ in thanksgiving to our Lord,” Mr Fangaria said.
“I have learnt that during Christmas youths from these areas always drink and causing disturbances to others who really want to worship the birth of our Lord in churches and at homes.
“I must declare here that I will report whoever produces kwaso and sell it during this Christmas.”
He said as the ministry that always advocate for right, he must do this action.
“I want to urge all chiefs within these concern areas to come together to work with police to keep an eye on youths to behave well this Christmas,” the Be Happy Ministry leader said.
Mr Fangaria also warned people to be careful during the festive season.
“People will come around in the name of Christmas carols but intentionally to steal your important belongings,” he said.
Gilbert Camp chiefs are also ready to support the move by Be Happy Ministry to maintain peace and harmony in the area during this Christmas celebrations.
