Dear Editor – Could you please allow me space to express my concern regarding the above subject matter that has been blowing like a hurricane wind in the RSIPF for last few years since then with an expectation to receive some huge amount of money like a manner falling from Heaven, and is quiet shocking to note.
The organising committee has claimed that the serving and none serving Police Officers will soon receive $300,00.00 SBD each for the alleged loyal to their duties during the ethnic crisis period.
While I appreciate it, will it be possible and who is going to shoulder the claim?
The working committee has been established some years back with few former senior officer____s in the Police Force hold on to top positions and had continued to deceive officers with their empty promises to obtain monies in the name of stationeries, bus fares, lunches for the alleged claim.
In the past am aware that the round house has pass a legislation to put a stop to such corrupt practises, due to past experiences have reveal that it badly affects people hard earnings and they become victims of the scam.
As a result few members were sentence to Imprisonment. But this time round it happen again in the discipline force. A Police Force that everybody has respect for it. Is this another scam?
Since Solomon Islands is looking forward for the exit of RAMSI in June 2017, what would be the future of the organisation be look like if such practises still persists?
Mr Commissioner I wish if Police could step in and bring those concern members to justice for their dirty dealings since precedence has already set.
You can see them at NPF plaza and museum area on daily basis deceiving others. Nafu fo liar nao oloketa Cops.
