One of the Chief of the tribes claiming ownership of Bina harbour blames land dispute as the major factor that hinders progress of Bina harbor project.
Harry Arufaegwao of Kwao tribe said land dispute is still a problem that delays progress of Bina.
This is because 48 tribes are not working together to allow the project to operate, he said.
He said Kwao tribe should be included in the 48 tribes to make it 49, since claims of ownership by their tribe remain a matter to be address.
He told the Solomon Star during his visit that they will continue to seek dialogue from other tribes and the government to take into account their claims of ownership to be part of the project as well.
Adding, they were left out from the 48 tribes that negotiate Bina land, which urge government to take Kwao tribe on board the negotiations over any development of Bina Harbour.
