The Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) wishes to apologise to the Dependent Security Firm following the inaccurate use of the company’sname during the presentation of a court brief on Tuesday (16 May 2017).
The company was incorrectly referred to in relation to the charging of a man for his alleged involvement in the LGZ double murder over the Easter period.
The RSIPF office of the National Criminal Investigation Division (NCID) confirmed an error was made during the typing of the remand brief by its investigators.
The office of Director Public Prosecution has been informed of the error and a correction will be made during the next appearance of the alleged offender in court.
