Dear Editor – Opponents of the current government have accused the DCC of having nothing to show for during the three years the group was in power.
From start, the number of political appointees (PA) drew criticisms from the public not only because of the quantity but more so, the quality of those appointed as PA____s.
The PA____s themselves have been accused as a group of doing nothing and a waste of tax payers money.
Even the Prime Minister himself has been labelled names including that of being “incompetent”, “indecisive” and “self-serving”.
But there is one group of those political things known as “Secretaries” in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) and what role these individuals might have played in creating the mess the Prime Minister and DCC group have found themselves in.
These groups of individuals have often been lumped together with other PA____s for criticism or praise but never alone.
Obviously, they cannot be doing and writing exactly the same things as other PA____s , Permanent Secretaries and Directors in the line Ministries have been doing during the last three years.
I aware that the reason DCC has appointed Seninighans and PhD____s to these positions is to “give more weight to papers they sign”.
So have the weight of these so-called Secretaries signatures have done anything to this country or to the reputation of DCC and that of the PM?
