The Tip Off Basketball Challenge will continue today at the Multipurpose Hall with the final group matches and the final playoffs.
Eleven matches are scheduled across men’s and women’s divisions to round out the Tip Off Challenge for 2018.
Matches today are expected to be tough as all teams are determined to move on for the playoffs.
Last year’s grand finalists, Gunnerz and Marist, are on track to continue their rivalry.
Marist secured two wins, defeating Hillcock Bandits 24-20 before thumping SOSSA 45-12, to sit atop Pool A.
After a slow start to their first game, Gunnerz turned up the heat with their trademark pressure defence and transition play to score two strong wins, 35-21 over Ronkay Knights and 29-16 over Team Chamba Pinoy, to sit on top of Pool B.
De-fenders women’s basketball team tops the women’s category with El-Divas on second spot and Sunrise on third.
Matches will kick off at 12pm and the finals are scheduled for 4.30pm for the women and 5pm for the men’s final.
Entry is $5 for adults and $2 for children.
