YOUNG tennis star now uprising soccer star Benjamin Junior is now the talk of football in the country, after shining for his Rewa FC outfit.
Junior is now currently playing for the Rewa FC Under-19 side, and have scored 6 goals in 4 matches played.
Following his reign in the youth team, the 18 year old was made known to the Rewa FC senior side, by his best friend Savenaca Baledrokadroka.
Baledrokadroka was a member of the Fiji U20, and also Rewa player.
The former Tennis youth star is now a student at Fiji National University (FNU), studying Sport science.
Before playing soccer, Junior was a student studying and playing tennis at the ITF regional training center in Lautoka, Fiji.
Now that his football dreams are now realised, his intention for the future is to earn a spot in the national men’s team, representing Solomon Islands.
Rewa FC is one of the biggest names in Fiji football.
Solomon Islands international James Naka was one of the locals that have been plying his trade with the club, few years back.
Hearing this great news, local football fans in the country have congratulated young Junior for the fine achievement, and wished him well in his future with the Rewa FC young side.
