More job opportunities will be available in the Malaita Provincial Government as the direct result of mass retirement this year.
At the end of this year, 41 provincial workers are expected to retire from work as they are now at their retirement age.
Of the 41 workers expected to retire, 14 have already retired while the province is dealing with the remaining 27 who are still working.
The mass retirement means the province will have to do new recruitments to fill in the vacant positions left behind by the retired workers.
Those who wish to serve under the Malaita Provincial Government are urged to look out for job vacancies put up by the provincial government to fill in the vacant position.
Malaita Province Human Resource Manager Richard Misi said vacancies will be put out for interested candidates to apply once the process is completed.
