Futsal Star shares new Futsal Court with students

NATIONAL Futsal Star Raphael Le’ai has joined officials and students during the official launch event of the Faumamanu Community High School (CHS) Hall and Futsal Court, Tuesday this week.
Le’ai was part of the Malaita Football Association (MFA) team that officiated at the official handing over ceremony of the Faumamanu CHS Assembly Hall.
The hall will be used to house Futsal competitions in East Malaita.
The star has the chance to share the Futsal court with the students with Faumamanu Futsal lovers which gave them encouragement and a lifetime experience.
The presence of Le’ai who is a well-known Oceania Futsal star has raised many eyebrows and brought smiles to Faumamanu students.
Locals told Star Sports that the presence of the local Futsal star at the occasion means a lot to them.
According to the locals, Le’ai’s attendance gives them a chance of a lifetime to play alongside or against one of our best Futsal stars in a rural setting.
Young aspiring Futsal players from East Malaita told Star Sports that they also would like to follow the star’s footsteps in Futsal and represent the country in the future.
The presence of Le’ai at the new Futsal court at Faumamanu was made possible through MFA President Eddie Omokirio.
