HENDERSON Eels FC’s young striker, Raphael Lea’i is back leading the Telekom S-league (TSL) gold boot race with 10 goals.
Rafa extended his tally with two goals scored against the defending champions, Solomon Warriors FC on Sunday.
Lea’i opened the account in the first minutes of the match to give an early lead for Eels.
Following an equalizer by Warriors, Rafa came back with the equalizer from a penalty kick in the second half.
He has scored in most of Eels matches since the start of the season.
Meanwhile, teammate, Joses Nawo who recently led the golden boot race is back in second place with nine goals.
Real Kakamora’s Adrian Mara is closing in on third place with seven goals.
