LAUGU FC will head into the new Telekom Super League (TSL) season under the command of new coach Luke Eroi.
This was confirmed by TSL Media.
“Laugu United has appointed Luke Eroi as head coach for the upcoming TSL season.
“Eroi has the wealth of coaching experiences, under his guidance, he led Vanuatu club Amicale FC and Koloale FC to OFC champions league finals,” according to a statement.
Eroi has a strong background in coaching, especially at the club level, and currently holds an OFC Senior Coaching License.
The experience of Eroi in the country’s top tier will be a good asset for Laugu.
Under his tutelage, Koloale reached the O-League for the first time in the club’s history some years ago.
He was also at the helm when the national U-23 men’s team, Solympics, won the first edition of the Wantok Cup and coached the Solympics side that reached the finals of the OFC Olympic Qualifiers in 2008.
His hard work, outstanding career, and performance have got him to win the Scholarship for Soccer Coaching, AIS Australia in 1997, award coach of the year for the local league (HFA) in 1997 and 2001, FA International License Course for coaching in London, England in 2010 and the FA International coaching license level in England also in 2010.
