A total of 16 football teams have been confirmed to participate in the upcoming Kwara’ae Super League in Malaita Province.
The newly organised league is confirmed to kick off on Saturday 21st August which next weekend.
All league games (tournaments) will be played at Gwaunaoa village football field in ward 3 of West Kwara’ae.
According to a statement from United Kwara’ae for Change (UK4C) Association who funded the league, the 16 confirmed soccer teams are as follows:
K Warriors FC, DN FC, Fote Centres FC, MAOBA FC, HORN BILLS FC, G. UNITED FC, BUMA FC, B. HEIGHTS FC, REAL K FC, MID-WEST FC, FIU UNITED FC, AIMELA FC, AILAKO FC, GWAUNARUU FC and LFG FC.
The Organiser had reminded interested teams that the registration will close on Saturday 14th August followed by draws.
Registration fee for each club is $500.00

“Opening matches will kick off at Gwaunaoa sports field on 21st of August.
“This is the final 16 teams that will compete in the first edition of the KSL that will kick off next weekend.
“The league comprises of football clubs from the ward 4, 3 & 2 in the Kwara’ae region.” it stated.
The prizes for the league are as follows;
1st Prize: $10,000.00
2nd Prize: $7,000.00
3rd Prize; $5,000.00
4th Prize: $3,000.00
