THE University of the South Pacific (USP) will now be offering flexible fee payment arrangements to its existing students wanting to continue studies in semester 2, 2021.
In an email circulated to staff and students, it stated that students with debts less than FJD $1,000 can re-enroll in Semester 2.
This means the account hold for students with outstanding fees will be uplifted after signing an installment agreement with the Finance Section or the respective Campus.
However, the outstanding fee must be paid in full by the end of the term before students are allowed to access results, graduate or re-enroll in further terms.
“Students with debts between FJD $1,000 and FJD $2,000 must make payment to reduce the debt to less than FJD $1,000, following which they will be eligible to sign up for an Installment Agreement under clause 1 above.
“Students with debts more than FJD $2,000 must pay at least 50% of their outstanding debt and sign an Installment Agreement with Finance, before their holds can be uplifted for enrollment into Semester 2, 2021.”
For students with outstanding debts related to 2019 and prior years must settle this first before they can be eligible for the Semester 2, 2021 fee arrangements.
Other arrangements can be considered on a case-by-case basis, subject to the approval of the Executive Director of Finance.
All payment arrangements will expire on the last day of the term.
