Leader of Opposition Hon. Matthew Wale congratulates the newly elected Premier of Western Province, Hon. Christian Burly Mesepitu.
The election of the new Premier of Western Province finally took place yesterday bringing to an end a political stand-off that rocked the Province over the past few weeks.
In congratulating the new Premier, Mr. Wale says, “I am confident that your elevation to the top job is a vote of confidence in your leadership qualities, and an answered prayer for your Province and people”.
“Take heed of the events of the past few weeks both within your province and at the national level and embrace the virtues of listening to the people and seeking guidance in the divine one,” says Wale.
Mr. Wale wished the new Premier and his new executive well and looks forward to working closely with him moving forward.
