IT is continuously disappointing to note that some of the country’s educated elites are still refusing to get vaccinated and are advocating against vaccination.
The Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare made the statement during the extension of the State of Public Emergency in Parliament last week.
“It is continuously disappointing to note, that some of our well educated elites are still refusing to get vaccinated and are advocating against vaccination,” Mr Sogavare said.
He stated whether it be for religious conviction, personal or medical reasons. However, Prime Minister implore with the country’s citizens to refrain from such act.
“I am imploring you my good citizens to refrain from such act and do the right thing. And protect yourself, your home, your village, your province and your country,” Sogavare said.
