THE Solomon Islands Women In Business Association (SIWIBA) has appointed a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
She is Ms Ethel Wasuka. Ethel hails from Makira-Ulawa province.
In a statement yesterday, Ms Wasuka is sure to drive SIWBA’s strategic vision using her vast experience in the development sector working with government, NGO’s and managing grants on fisheries, tourism, disaster and aviation sectors.
In congratulating her, the Australian High Commission’s office has wished her well in her new appointment.
“Congratulations to Ms Ethel Wasuka, newly appointed Chief Executive Officer of Solomon Islands Women in Business Association!
“Australia is proud to support Solomon Islands Women in Business Association.
“We look forward to working with Ethel and her team to support women to be empowered to make life decisions relating to finances and their economic well-being,” the Australian High Commission office statement said.
