THE United Kingdom (UK) has now recognised the new Solomon Islands vaccine certificates (pictured).
A notification released by the British High Commission’s Office in Honiara confirmed this Friday.
It also announced the date of effectiveness.
“From 10 January 2022, travellers vaccinated in Solomon Islands and holding the yellow vaccination certificate with two Covid vaccinations will be recognised as being fully vaccinated when travelling to the UK,” it stated.
However, it also encourages travellers to keep up-to-date with UK entry rules as they are subjected to regular changes.
