THE Solomon Islands National University (SINU) will only allow vaccinated staff and students to its campuses.
In a meeting Saturday, the University Executive Management has endorsed that no students will be allowed to enter any SINU campuses this week.
Staff and students who have yet to get their vaccination must adhere to the Prime Minister’s call to visit the vaccination sites and get vaccination during next week (this week), SINU stated.
The executive said a policy of no jab, no job, no school will be executed once SINU opens for normal business.
The executive has urged all staff who are fully vaccinated to attend work this week, and must comply with all Covid-19 safety protocols.
“All these measures are necessary to help us fight against the Covid-19 community transmission in the country,” it stated.
As announced earlier, SINU will be closed for business for the whole of this week.
Their first semester enrolment will also defer for another week.
