THE Honiara Rugby Union Association (HRUA) has signed a new sponsorship agreement of $145K with the Solrice Company yesterday.
The sponsorship will cater for the prize awards for the winners of the Solrice Grand Premier Rugby Competition 2022.
This is part of the continuous support from Solrice.
The Solrice Grand Premier Rugby Competition is proposed to start in the first week of July and end in early October.
This three-month timeframe can only cater for the Premier Division.
Eleven teams will battle it out for the first prize, a whopping $50,000.
2021 champions Avaiki will return to defend against 2021 runner-up Matangiki and top contenders, HammerHeads, Bridge 15s, Islanders, Crusaders, LuaPel, SOSA, Tia Warriors, Police and Diesel.
