There’s no Principal Security Advisor
PREMIER Suidani has hits out at claim founder of M4DD Knoxley Atu is the principal security advisor of MARA government.
He said there is no such title as Principal Security Advisor under the MARA government.
He was responding to an article on Weekend Star claiming Atu – founder and principal security advisor to Malaita Premier.
Mr. Suidani has refuted this claim saying the continuing misleading claims, aims at tarnishing the good reputation of his MARA government.
Speaking to Solomon Star Auki yesterday Premier Suidani said it is sad that a certain reporter continues to mislead the public with unverified information regarding the MARA government.
He clarifies that Atu is the President of M4DD representing the peoples’ power and not the MARA government Principal Security Advisor as claimed in the media.
“Everyone in Malaita is aware of the fact that Mr. Atu is the M4DD President.
“The M4DD President is well-known for his strong stand for peoples’ power.
“I want to make it clear that M4DD President is not on the payroll of MPG which is a clear indication that he is not what the media said about him,” Premier Suidani said.
With that, he said MPG has its own security force who are on the government payroll.
The Premier urged the author to discontinue from misleading the public and stop the attitude of putting his own title on people without their consent.
He said there is no position under the current MARA government as Principal Security Advisor where he said he was surprised to read the new title in Solomon Star Weekend publications.
Meanwhile Mr. Atu has surrendered himself to the authorities Thursday last week.
According to police he surrendered under private arrangement.
