MEMBER of Parliament for Shortlands, Chris Laore (MP) and Minister for Home Affairs left Honiara Tuesday this week, for a two-week constituency tour.
The tour aims to raise awareness and explain to his people a number of government priorities as well as gather feedbacks directly from his constituents.
High on MP Laore’s agenda is awareness on the government’s intention to delay the coming National General Election to accommodate the Pacific Games 2023 and to hear directly from his people on the subject.
Other important agenda items for awareness include the Diplomatic switch to China, SI-PRC Security Pact and specific border issues.
MP Laore encourages the People of Shortlands not to miss this opportunity to be fully informed of government policies and specific issues relating to the constituency.
