A MOTION of No Confidence against Central Islands Premier Stanley Manetiva will proceed today (Friday), and once again his executive will boycott the meeting.
This was confirmed to this paper by Premier Manetiva.
He said what has prompted his executive to boycott the meeting is that, the meeting is a waste of time, budget and Energy.
He said people of the province should know that Non-Executive did not care about the budget, what they care about is to form a new government and not the budget.
He said so far, the province has lost 100 percent of the PCDF fund.
“In March we lost 40 percent and later we lost 60 percent of the PCDF, which is totaled up to 100 percent,” Manetiva said.
Mr Manetiva said they’re not disputing the meeting as it a numerical game.
He said his team will be in Tulagi today, however, they will not attend to the meeting.
Mr Manetiva‘s leadership has been an icon for his province for the clean audit report his government achieved for the period of 2019, 2020 and 2021 financial year.
