The first stop 3×3 basketball challenge has been successfully completed on Monday at Holy Cross Basketball court.
Rukiez scooped the men’s category top prize, Dragons second, Phila third and Jelly Fam on fourth.
The women’s category was won by 71 Eclipse, Sunrise 2 second, El-Divas third and Sunrise 1 fourth.
“Thank you to all participating teams and players, big congratulations to Rukiez and 71 Eclipse for being crowned champions of the 1st stop 3×3 basketball October challenge.
“We thank the sponsors, partners and individuals who have supported to make this event a success.
“Big thank you to Solomon Island Basketball Federation, SI Institute of Sports, Solrice, Holy Cross Basketball court management, Morris Toiraena and family, participating teams, Technical, Referees and bench officials and the volunteers, and lastly to all our basketball family,” Golden Kiloko of the organizing committee said.
The second tip-off 3×3 basketball challenge is set to be held at the Solomon Islands National Institute of Sports (SINIS) basketball court this weekend.
