THE Honiara City Council has thanked the leaders and members of the Seventh Day Adventist for their major clean-up program in Honiara city on Sunday 5th of February, 2023.
“This shows how the churches are working together with the Honiara City Council to make sure Honiara residents live in a clean environment. I would like to appeal to other churches to do similar clean-up programs,” said the City Mayor.
He said Honiara City Council truly encourages continuous collaboration amongst church leaders, community leaders within the city in supporting the City Council initiatives.
The Honiara City Council will continue to work closely with all the churches and communities within its jurisdiction to make Honiara a clean city for everyone to live in.
